We Give Robot Vacuums a Second Life.

From our lab in Riga we’ve revived thousands of robots since 2019 — and kept them out of landfill.

Our story

about-us.story.image_alt

It started at Xiaomi Riga.
In 2019 we opened the city’s authorised Xiaomi service centre. Warranty robots piled in, we learned every screw and sensor.

Botsmit is phase two.
European customers kept asking for mail-in repair, so we built a door-to-door courier workflow that now serves the whole EU.

Today our team of electronics engineers, firmware tinkerers and hardware geeks repairs all major brands — Roborock, Dreame, iRobot, Ecovacs, Xiaomi and more.

Why Trust Us?

Deep Specialisation

Only robot vacuums — no phones, no TVs. We have every jig, jig-board and firmware flasher.

Transparent Pricing

Flat labour rates + parts at cost. Quotes arrive before we lift a soldering iron.

180-Day Warranty

Twice the industry standard on every repair and component.

Circular-Economy Mission

Each successful repair saves ~7 kg of e-waste and 30 kg of CO₂ vs. manufacturing a new unit.

It also saves money.

A battery swap or board repair typically costs 20–40% of a new robot vacuum, yet restores up to 100% of its cleaning performance. Why pay for plastics and marketing again when the core hardware can run for years?

Inside the Lab

Burnt main board of an iRobot vacuum before chip transplant.
New lithium pack being wired into a Hobot robot.

Clean mainboard after ultrasonic wash and inspection.

Repair beats replace.

Manufacturing a single robot vacuum produces the same CO₂ as driving ~150 km. By restoring your existing unit you…

  • use 80× less raw material
  • avoid lithium-ion battery landfill
  • extend the useful life of precision electronics
